Trincomalee

With the view of providing support required for economic development activities commenced in the recently liberated North and Eastern Provinces subsequent to the end of decades long conflict, a new regional office (RO) as 4th RO was established in Trincomalee in the year 2010. From the beginning, RO – Trincomalee actively engaged in extending financial support to productive sectors to achieve balanced economic development within the region through strengthening credit delivery mechanism, providing awareness and providing necessary skills and knowledge required for grass-root level people to reinstate their lives after decades.commemorative coins and serval other functions.

Further, the RO in association with relevant government institutions in the province continued their work towards making policy decisions regarding region-specific matters. Since, its inception, entire Eastern Province was under the purview of RO-Trincomalee and accordingly Trincomalee, Ampara and Batticaloa districts were allocated to the RO was also engaged in extending CBSL functions at regional level through handling EPF matters, assisting to conducting surveys, sale of CBSL publications and commemorative coins and serval other functions.
